Sometimes I use this on vocals. Most of the time I use it as an mono overhead on drums or a room mic. Has four polar patterns. When I first got this many years ago, I thought it was the greatest mic ever. Now I rate it as just “pretty solid.” Also for the binaural and figure eight patterns I am not that impressed by the other side’s pickup pattern sound. A bit too dark for my tastes. I do like the back side and high cut/low pass filter.
